The Sales in Focus Study '24 is an Australian study produced to help Australian sales and marketing leaders navigate the rapidly changing landscape of the B2B sales.  This includes the changing buyer, expectations, and how sales organisations have had to reorient themselves both internally and externally to compete.

 

It provides detailed insight into what is occurring within the sales and B2B departments across our country.


28 sales leaders across Australia participated in the study and were interviewed through in-depth discussions.

what the report covers

Sales in Focus Study 2024 interviewed 28 Sales leaders across a range of businesses in industries both locally and globally, representing over 5000 sales professionals collectively.

 

This study explores: 

  • The strategic sales priorities, key challenges, and digital trends facing sales leaders and teams in the next 12 - 18 months;

  • Sales training priorities, capability gaps and investment;

  • Deep dive into sales operations along with the size and remit of the function;

  • Relationship with marketing, alignment, and friction points;

  • SalesTech priority investment areas.

methodology

The data within this report was sourced via 60+ minute in depth interviews containing 15 questions / discussion areas.

 

Responses were collected from the 15 December 2023 - 26 March 2024.
